Diego’s surgery a success

DIEGO Maradona has successfully undergone surgery to reduce the size of his stomach.

The Argentine had a “gastric by-pass” at a clinic in the Colombian city of Cartagena.

Maradona arrived weighing nearly 20st and Dr Carlos Chaux, who headed the medical team, said the surgery was successful.
