Derry City 0 APOEL Nicosia 3 (Agg: 1-5)

Dermot Keely's Derry had no answer to APOEL as they tamely exited the UEFA Cup qualifying round second leg at the Brandywell.

Leading 2-1 from the first leg in Cyprus, Costakis Malekos fired APOEL in front on the night from a 25-yard free kick on 36 minutes.

Despite APOEL defender Amanatides being sent off for a second booking on 73 minutes, Derry failed miserably to get back into the match and conceded two further goals inside the last 10 minutes.
