THE Eircom League last night voted unanimously in favour of a rule change which will allow it to elect an Interim Chairman.

The decision, taken at a special general meeting in Dublin will be conveyed by the League to its parent organisation, the FAI, today.

The FAI Rules Committee then has up to five days to determine whether or not the change should be ratified.
