FORMER France and Tottenham coach Jacques Santini admits he “dug his own grave” when he agreed a contract with the London club before Euro 2004.

Santini also claimed his decision to quit Spurs was partly down to broken agreements.

“They promised me a big apartment on the beach and I found myself 200 metres from the sea with a view of my neighbours.” said the former Lyon coach.
