Big Sam blasts Diouf

EL-Hadji Diouf has been forced to undergo extra training sessions by boss Sam Allardyce after claiming the striker is not fit to play for Bolton.

Diouf insists he is still troubled by a hernia injury but Allardyce believes the problem is more a “mental one” and has put the striker through three training sessions a day and banned him from the first-team dressing room.

“It’s moved around to a mental problem that he has in terms of gritting his teeth and going through a little bit of the pain barrier,” he said.
