Kahn threatens to sue over ‘mooning’ claims

HOT-HEADED German goalkeeper Oliver Kahn has threatened to take legal action against anyone who repeats accusations he mooned at rival fans who were shouting “Lehmann for Germany.”

Kahn threatens to sue over ‘mooning’ claims

In a picture published by Bild newspaper, the German international and Bayern Munich goalie is clearly showing his backside at the game against Rostock where fans were shouting for Kahn to be replaced by Arsenal keeper Jens Lehmann. But Kahn insists he was merely “adjusting my shorts.” “Anyone who says otherwise will have to face legal consequences,” he said.

The 35-year-old is known for his outbursts on and off the pitch and just last week came under fire following an incident involving Werder Bremen’s Miroslav Klose. A battle has also been running between Kahn and Lehmann for the position of first choice goalie in the national squad.
