DAVID MOYES hailed his players’ achievement after confirmation that Everton were back among Europe’s elite for the first time in 35 years.

Liverpool's 3-1 defeat to Arsenal at Highbury yesterday means Everton are not only certain of fourth place in the Premiership, but are officially Merseyside's top team.

Moyes admits he now has to contend with booming expectation levels for a club who have played second fiddle to their neighbours for so long.
