Kitson: I could answer Ireland’s call

DAVE KITSON has revealed he will consider playing for the Republic of Ireland if Steve Staunton comes knocking.

But Reading’s 25-year-old striker insisted he has had no contact from the new Republic boss.

Staunton will soon name his Ireland squad for their friendly against Sweden at Lansdowne Road on March 1.
