Keown’s hamstring misery

MARTIN KEOWN’S troublesome hamstring injury has flared up again forcing the veteran out of four more crucial Arsenal games.

The 36-year-old centre-back has already been sidelined for six weeks, but he suffered a fresh pull as he upped his fitness work and is now a fortnight away from a return.

Keown will miss tonight’s Worthington Cup clash with Sunderland at Highbury, as well as the Premiership games with Newcastle and Tottenham and the Champions League showdown with PSV Eindhoven.
