FA rules get tough on agents

NEW rules for agents will come into force in January’s transfer window after being ratified by the Football Association.

The regulations are designed to increase clarity and transparency and will supplement existing FIFA rules which will continue to govern agents in international matters.

Agents will have to disclose payments, conflicts of interest and third parties who assist in transactions.
