Keane keen on United chances

Roy Keane believes Manchester United can still compete with super-rich Chelsea in the transfer market.

Billionaire Russian owner Roman Abramovich has given Chelsea the financial clout to buy any player, but Keane insists the size of the pay packet is not the only consideration for top players and that joining United is still an attractive proposition when the whole package is considered.

“I think if Manchester United are interested in a player there’s always a pretty good chance of them coming to Old Trafford. Some players out there will look at their wage packet as their priority, and they are entitled to do that, but most players will look at the whole package” said Keane.
