Two-gaol Beattie believes he's the man to replace Larsson at Parkhead

YOUNG Celtic striker Craig Beattie believes he is the man to replace the legendary Henrik Larsson.

Parkhead manager Martin O'Neill is still searching for a new forward after seeing the Swedish superstar leave for Barcelona during the summer.

He has been linked with several big names, including Rivaldo, Alan Shearer and Henri Camera, but the answer could be right under his nose. The 20-year-old Beattie strengthened his own case with a deadly double in Celtic's 4-2 defeat to Chelsea in their opening Champions World Series game in the United States.
