Rovers’ 400 Club raises €50,000

THE Shamrock Rovers 400 Club has already raised €50,000 in its bid to buy the club, since launching the initiative at a public meeting in Dublin last week.

The fans’ organisation is now extending the period of its fundraising efforts to give other supporters an opportunity to subscribe.

The fans’ bid is understood to be one of seven up for consideration as Rovers undergo a period of examinership. The 400 Club is urging supporters to find out more about the initiative at [e-mail].
