I won’t quit, says Rix

GRAHAM RIX has vowed to carry on as Hearts head coach despite refusing to deny suggestions owner Vladimir Romanov is picking the team.

The Lithuanian was alleged to have named the team for the 1-1 draw at Dundee United, which prompted captain Steven Pressley to call a player meeting.

Romanov agreed to meet with Pressley, while Rix insists he will not walk away.

Rix said: “I am not a quitter. I have worked hard and the performances we’ve had show what a together group we are.”
