It is the final round of the championship and Ireland will play their final game in Rome when they face Italy. Ireland's loss to France last weekend leaves them sitting in third place at present and can only reach a maximum of 19 points should they defeated Italy with a try bonus point. France sit top of the table with 16 points with England just one point behind on 15. With the championship up for grabs on the final weekend it promises to be a super Saturday of rugby. 

Here is all you need to know ahead of the game.

Where is the game being played?

The game will take place in the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

What time is kick-off?

The game kicks-off at 2.15pm on March 15 and is the first of the three games to be played on Super Saturday.

Where to watch?

RTÉ Two will be broadcasting the match and their coverage starts at 1.15pm. RTÉ Radio also have live commentary while, as ever, The Irish Examiner will have a liveblog providing updates on the best of the action as it happens.

Who is the referee?

England’s Luke Pearce is the man in the middle for the game.

Team news 

Tadhg Furlong, Mack Hansen and Garry Ringrose are set to return while James Lowe is being monitored after picking up a back injury on Saturday but has shown improvement. Rónan Kelleher continues to be monitored with a decision to be made on their availability later in the week.

Interim head coach Simon Easterby will named his side at lunchtime on Thursday.
