Mike Prendergast eager to carry collective impact into URC play-offs

The penultimate round, 29-26 win over Edinburgh a fortnight ago seemed like an important achievement within the group and Prendergast agrees.

The way Mike Prendergast sees it, Munster’s win at Edinburgh last time out was in some ways his side’s pick of the eight-game winning run and an ideal springboard into this Saturday evening’s URC regular-season finale at home to Ulster.

Certainly Munster supporters will float into Thomond Park ahead of the 5:15pm kick-off delighted with their team’s form, which has propelled last season’s URC champions to the top of the table and handed them an excellent opportunity of securing a home draw through the entire play-off stage.
