Henry 'enjoying every minute of it'

Ulster's Chris Henry knows he may well be playing in the biggest game of his career if chosen to start against England in the Six Nations on Saturday.

Ireland coach Joe Schmidt will name his team tomorrow for the trip to Twickenham with Henry more than likely to be retained to the side winners over Scotland and Wales in rounds one and two.

Henry has been the first choice number seven in place of the injuredSean O'Brien in this championship.

He says with a Triple Crown to play for, it really doesn't get any better than what's in front of him.

"It's been a really exciting week, a lot of hard work has already been done for what's going to be one of the biggest games of my career," he said.

"There's a lot at stake and a lot of pressure but these are the games you want to be involved in so fingers crossed I do get selected it will be whopper to play in," Henry said.

Perhaps it's a case of pure luck that Henry has found himself in a starting 15 in the absence of Sean O'Brien, questions have been asked about whether a fit O'Brien would be left out in favour of Henry.

He's not thinking about that and says he has never been more confident in his game.

"I'm very happy although I think there is still more from me, the first few games there was a lot of talk about playing against Kelly Brown and Sam Warburton."

"I like to feel I was able to compete and contribute in those games, I've been enjoying every minute of it, it's been great to have a run of games." Henry added.

Although he's been enjoying his game time in an Ireland jersey, Henry knows that he's not the only man battling for a place in the number seven jersey and that every game has to be personally stood up.

"Leading into the Six Nations when we knew Sean was out, we knew someone was going to have to fill his place and the pressure was on with Tommy O'Donnell coming back from injury, you have Rhys Ruddock and Jordi Murphy playing really good at Leinster."

"For me, it was about trying not to get too much caught up in it and just play your game and hopefully if that was enough Joe would give you your game."
