O'Connell escapes citation for Kearney collision

Munster second row Paul O'Connell will not be cited for his collision with Leinster's Dave Kearney during Saturday's match at Thomond Park.

O'Connell made contact with Kearney's head when kicking the ball during the second half, leading to some suggestions that citing commissioner Eddie Walsh may pick up on the incident.

However, it was confirmed this afternoon that Walsh will not recommend a citing after reviewing footage of the incident.
