O’Driscoll to learn fate after stamping incident

Brian O’Driscoll was set to find out today what punishment he will face for his stamp on Italy’s Simone Favaro in Ireland’s RBS 6 Nations defeat in Rome.

The centre was due to appear before an independent disciplinary committee in London this morning after being cited over the incident, which clouded what is thought to have been his 125th and final Test in a green shirt.
