O’Donnell disappointed to miss out on Edinburgh clash

Munster flanker Tommy O’Donnell has been ruled out of the side’s opening RaboDirect PRO12 encounter with Edinburgh in Murrayfield on Saturday (8pm) through a rib injury.

The back-row forward sustained the knock in Munster’s 10-34 defeat to London Irish in Musgrave Park last Friday but having been assessed he is confident he will be back in action in a week.
