French media are reporting that the France versus Ireland Six Nations match will be rescheduled for Sunday, March 4.

After last Saturday's game was postponed because of a frozen pitch, the Six Nations Committee is believed to have set the game for three weeks' time, with a kick-off time of either 3pm or 4.15pm.

Confirmation of the rescheduled tie is expected later this evening with a press conference set to take place at 5pm in Dublin.

It would mean that the tournament organisers have ignored a request from the French Rugby Federation for the game be pushed back to the start of next season.
