The Ulster management have taken decided to rest Stephen Ferris and Rory Best due to the large number of games they’ve played in recent months meaning the pair have been omitted from the provisional 30-man squad to play Glasgow on Friday.

The decision means Ulster will travel to Scotland without a number of big name players as Paddy Wallace, Ruan Pienaar and Jared Payne are all unavailable due to injury.
