McCaw hails World Cup triumph

Captain Richie McCaw spoke of his pride after New Zealand ended their 24-year wait to regain the World Cup with a hard-fought 8-7 victory over France.

France knocked New Zealand out of the 1999 and 2007 World Cups and gave them an almighty scare tonight, but the hosts held out to gain revenge.
