Northampton near full strength for Cardiff final
Northampton coach Jim Mallinder has today named his side for tomorrow’s Heineken Cup final clash with Leinster at the Millennium Stadium (kick-off 5pm).
The East Midlands-based outfit are without England blindside Tom Wood with Calum Clark deputising; Clark links up with Phil Dowson and former Ulster No 8 Roger Wilson in the backrow.
The familiar back three combination of Ben Foden, Chris Ashton and Paul Diggin is named with John Clarke and Ex-Munster centre James Downey linking up in the centre.
Stephen Myler and Lee Dickson form the half-backs while the highly-rated unit of Brian Mujati, Dylan Hartley and Soane Tonga'uiha pack down in the front row.
Courtney Lawes and Christian Day form the second row with Mark Sorenson providing cover from the bench.
