Fogarty and Horan named on bench for Munster

Munster coach Tony McGahan has made 11 changes from the side that lost in Treviso last weekend for tomorrow night’s Magners League clash with Edinburgh at Thomond Park Stadium, kick-of 7.50pm.

Six of those who started in Trevsio: Doug Howlett, Lifeimi Mafi, Paul Warwick, Damian Varley, Tommy O'Donnell and James Coughlan retain their places, while joined Wian du Preez, Mick O'Driscoll, Donnacha Ryan and Denis Hurley who came off the bench last Sunday in Stadio Monigo come into the starting line-up.

Peter Stringer returns to the side and partners Ronan O'Gara at halfback while Denis Leamy has been released from the international squad and links up with Coughlan and UL Bohemians openside O’Donnell in the backrow.

Johne Murphy switches to fullback with Warwick moving to inside centre to team up with Mafi. Tony Buckley, who signed a three-year deal with Sale Sharks yesterday, will start in the number three jersey.

Hooker Denis Fogarty and prop Marcus Horan are named on the bench having been out of action since September and October respectively.
