John Hayes has identified Ireland’s Grand Slam as the highlight of a career on the brink of a special milestone, which could also be prolonged until the 2011 World Cup.

Hayes will become the first player to amass a century of caps for Ireland when he fills his customary role at tighthead for Saturday’s RBS 6 Nations clash with England at Twickenham.
