The Welsh Rugby Union will today continue to monitor the progress of a police investigation after Wales rugby star Andy Powell was arrested for driving a golf buggy after defeating Scotland in a thrilling RBS 6 Nations match.

Back row forward Powell, 28, was arrested with another 28-year-old man in the early hours of yesterday morning at a service station near junction 33 of the M4 motorway, close to the spa hotel in the Vale of Glamorgan where his team were staying.
