Tommy Bowe discusses contract extension with The Ospreys

Ireland international Tommy Bowe has opened talks with The Ospreys about an extension to his contract.

"I've been putting it off for quite a while, but I'm starting to get back into negotiations," admitted Bowe.

"It's not something I particularly enjoy. I prefer to get on with playing. It's a case of leaving people to sort it out and then making a decision whenever I have to."

In other words, there is a tug-of-love brewing between the Welsh club and the IRFU over getting Bowe back to Ireland to prepare for the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand.
