Narrow win will help us, insists Henry
All Blacks coach Graham Henry believes his team can push on after their narrow victory against Australia in Sydney.
Following their 19-18 win, New Zealand will now hope Australia can do the business against South Africa over the next two weeks.
That would boost New Zealand's chances of claiming the title, following their two losses to the Springboks.
New Zealand have two home matches remaining, against South Africa in Hamilton and Australia in Wellington.
Dan Carter kicked the winning penalty with two minutes remaining of yesterday's match, and it was the way his side kept coming back, especially when things were not going their way, that impressed Henry above all.
"They just didn't get a roll of the dice really. They just kept coming back and performing. It speaks volumes of the guys out on the field," Henry said.
"The Australians are a very good side, they stretched us a lot. It is just pleasing that the guys had the ability to handle that and win the game in the finish. I think it will do us a lot of good quite frankly.
"But we will and see what happens in the next two Tri Nations Test matches."
