First Leicester start for Staunton

Jeremy Staunton will make his first appearance for Leicester Tigers in Saturday’s Vaquerin Challenge clash with Castres.

The former Ireland international was only unveiled as a Tigers player last week but has been presented with an immediate chance to impress, having been handed the number 10 jersey for the game in Camares, France.

Staunton will be joined in the starting XV by compatriot Johne Murphy, who will line out at full-back.
