Jean de Villiers avoids serious knee injury

Munster coach Tony McGahan will be relieved to hear that a scan today revealed no serious damage to the right knee of Springbok Jean de Villiers.

The South African centre was removed from the field with what had looked to be a serious leg injury.

Strangely, team doctor Craig Roberts is confident he suffered nothing more than cramp and will be ready for the second Tri-Nations match against Australia in Durban next Saturday.
