Campbell and Swift back for Connacht
Connacht coach Michael Bradley has recalled scrum-half Kieran Campbell and back five forward Michael Swift ahead of their Magners League clash against Edinburgh in Murrayfield on Friday (kick off: 7.30pm).
Kieran Campbell is fresh from a few weeks away at the Sevens World Cup and his team-mates will be asking him to show more than a good tan on the night.
The versatile Swift comes into the second row with Andrew Browne reverting to the blindside in a back row including Ray Ofisa and captain John Muldoon.
Captain Mike Blair will lead Edinburgh for the first time since January for Friday’s clash.
Blair said: “It is good to be back playing for Edinburgh. We are keen to generate some momentum and that starts with the Connacht match.
“There are six games remaining and we believe that all six are winnable matches. With it being such a tight league, if we can achieve that goal then we can finish near the top end of the championship.”
