Four exiles in Scotland A team

Scotland A coach Andy Robinson has named six Glasgow Warriors and five Edinburgh players in his side to face Ireland A at the RDS on Friday night (7.30pm).

Scotland A coach Andy Robinson has named six Glasgow Warriors and five Edinburgh players in his side to face Ireland A at the RDS on Friday night (7.30pm).

They will be joined by four exiles represented by Steve Jones (Newcastle Falcons), Sean Lamont (Northampton Saints), Rob Dewey (Ulster) and David Young (Gloucester).

Robinson said: “We achieved some good results with a positive brand of expansive rugby last season and the plan is for the players to replicate those performances against Ireland ‘A’ and Italy ‘A’.
