Dolphin continue unbeaten run in AIB League

Dolphin took their unbeaten home run in the AIB League to 12 matches as they had just enough to see off Blackrock College at Musgrave Park.

Aided by a strong wind, the Cork side carved out a 14-7 half-time advantage with lock Chris Rowe and winger Paul Hurley scoring converted tries.

Tries in each half from winger Shane Monahan, taking his try-scoring haul for the league campaign to eight, kept Blackrock in contention, but an unconverted effort from Munster back rower Nick Williams was enough to see Dolphin home.
