Clermont increase hopes of progress with win

Pierre Mignoni scored two tries as Clermont Auvergne maintained their challenge in Heineken Cup Pool One with a comprehensive victory over Montauban.

The score was just 15-3 at half-time but the hosts were rampant, scoring seven tries in all with Julien Malzieu, Loic Jacquet, Alexandre Audebert, Thomas Domingo and John Senio also going over and Brock James adding four conversions.

Yohan Dalla Riva was the only try scorer for Montauban, who remain adrift at the bottom of a pool dominated by Munster.
