Jordi Murphy’s Leinster Schools caned their Ulster counterparts for four tries in the Schools (Under-18) Inter-provincial Championship at Donnybrook today.

Jordi Murphy’s Leinster Schools caned their Ulster counterparts for four tries in the Schools (Under-18) Inter-provincial Championship at Donnybrook today.

The northern boys were not able to build on a solid start when their Ireland Schools kicked a fourth minute penalty. They had plenty of possession, but not the craft to make it count.

The home side wasn’t as wasteful. Left-wing Sam Coghlan-Murray cleverly put centre Alex Kelly over in the in the 20th minute for a half-time lead they would never relinquish

as the impressive Coghlan-Murray, hooker Tom Parsons and Parsons’ direct replacement Derek Whiston completed the quartet.
