Peel asks to play against Ulster

Wales scrum-half Dwayne Peel has asked Warren Gatland for permission to play for his club Llanelli Scarlets against Ulster at Ravenhill on Friday night.

Gatland is willing to allow Pewel to avail of more game time.

Gatland said: "Dwayne approached us and asked if he could play this weekend, he feels he needs more rugby and we will be more than happy to see him take the field at Ravenhill if the medical opinion approves."

First, Peel has to receive medical clearance because he was injured in the Six Nations win over Italy last Saturday.
