Injured Botha out of World Cup

South Africa prop BJ Botha has been ruled out of the World Cup after damaging knee ligaments in the Springboks’ 64-15 win over the USA on Sunday night.

Botha will be replaced in the South Africa squad later this week by Jannie Du Plessis, who made his Test debut during this year’s Tri-Nations.
