UCD 6 Belfast Harlequins 3, Belfield

After five straight seasons in Division One, Belfast Harlequins have been relegated - UCD edged today's do-or-die Division One duel at Belfield.

Needing a win to survive in the top flight, centre Fergus McFadden came up trumps for the students by nailing a 74th-minute penalty.

It has been a week to forget for Andy Ward's 'Quins side, who lost the AIB Cup final last Saturday and are now bracing themselves for Division Two rugby.

Darren Cave landed a first half penalty to put 'Quins 3-0 in front at the break. But McFadden soon levelled and also angled over the match winner.
