Three players drafted into Italy squad for Ireland tie

Three more players have been drafted into Italy's training squad for their RBS 6 Nations showdown with Ireland next weekend.

Centre Matteo Barbini, hooker Fabio Ongaro and back-row forward Josh Sole have linked up with the 24-man squad on duty for last Saturday's win over Wales in Rome.

Elsewhere, back Gonzalo Canale has muscle problems in his left leg and further tests will be needed before a decision on his fitness for the Irish match.

The Italian squad will be pared back from 27 to 24 tomorrow.
