Cork Con decide to leave Temple Hill

Cork Constitution have decided to proceed with the sale of their ground at Temple Hill.

At a special general meeting of club members last night over 90% of the members present at the meeting voted in favour of the proposition and to acquire a new 38 acre site at Ballyorban, Douglas to be developed into a new rugby complex.

Cork Constitution have been at their Temple Hill site for over 50 years.

The move to Ballyorban, which is approximately three miles from Temple Hill, will provide some six full size pitches as well as potential for future development. The main pitch will be floodlit with training lights on a number of other pitches. A new clubhouse with full facilities is also to be provided.
