Munster squad v Edinburgh named

Munster coach Declan Kidney has chosen an extended 25-man squad for the visit of Edinburgh to Thomond Park on Friday.

Ireland tight-head John Hayes and key back Shaun Payne have been included in the party, along with 26-year-old Portuguese international Diogo Mateus.

All Black Christian Cullen and Ireland international will not be back in contention for six weeks. This comes as damaging news just over a week away from Munster's opening pool match in the Heineken Cup.
