McFarland to make 100th appearance

Dan McFarland will make his 100th appearance in the green of Connacht when they make the trip to Thomond Park for a Celtic League tie on Tuesday.

Dan McFarland will make his 100th appearance in the green of Connacht when they make the trip to Thomond Park for a Celtic League tie on Tuesday.

The veteran prop is part of a 22-man Squad and coach Michael Bradley has confirmed that he will start the match.

McFarland said: "I have always been extremely proud to play for Connacht, every year the more so.

"You don't arrive with a sense of belonging to a team. That has to come over time but out of all the places I've been this was the quickest it came to me," he said.
