South African captain John Smit will earn his 50th cap on Saturday when the Springboks face Wales at the Millennium Stadium.

Twenty-year-old Meyer Bosman will make his debut in the number 10 jersey as replacement for Andre Pretorius, who sustained an ankle injury two weeks ago in the game against Argentina in Buenos Aires.

Scrum-half Michael Claassens earns his first start in his fourth Test, replacing Bolla Conradie, while Schalk Burger comes in at flanker for Solly Tyibilika.

The other change sees Lawrence Sephaka replace Os du Randt at loosehead prop.

South Africa team to play Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday: P Montgomery; Cjantjes, J Fourie, J de Villiers, B Habana; M Bosman, M Claassens; L Sephaka, J Smit (captain), CJ Van der Linde, B Botha, V Matfield, S Burger, J Smith, J Cronje.

Replacements: H Shimange, O du Randt, A van den Berg, D Rossouw, B Conradie, D Barry, B Russell.
