Buccaneers easily bossed Lansdowne into submission, despite scoring just one try in their 17-0 win at Dubarry Park.

A try from Adrian Hanley and four penalties from Tommy Cregan helped Geoff Moylan's side rise up to fifth in the Division One standings.

The damage was done in a first half that ended 14-0 in the Pirates' favour. Back row Hanley, man-of-the-match against Ballymena last week, touched down from a forward drive on 17 minutes.

Ex-Shannon player Cregan, who had kicked a first-minute penalty, added three more either side of the break to dump a lacklustre Lansdowne side.

Buccs' number 8 David Kelly claimed the One Direct man-of-the-match award.
