Powell moves from Blues to Scarlets

Cardiff Blues have signed back-row forward Andy Powell from their Welsh regional rivals Llanelli Scarlets.

Powell, whose previous clubs include Leicester and Beziers, has represented Wales at A and Under-21 levels.

“Andy is obviously a quality acquisition for the region, and he will add strength and a real physicality to our back-row unit,” said Blues coaching chief David Young.
