White called up for Lions
Scotland flanker Jason White has been called into the British and Irish Lions squad for the tour of New Zealand.
White, who enjoyed an impressive RBS 6 Nations championship in a struggling Scotland side, takes the Lions’ Scottish contingent back up to three and will arrive in New Zealand on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old, who has 46 Scotland caps and can also play in the second row, has effectively replaced Richard Hill in the squad.
Hill damaged knee ligaments in Saturday’s first Test defeat and is out of the tour.
