Woodward looks to improve Lions record

Clive Woodward today vowed to improve the Lions’ dismal record in New Zealand as the touring party completed their final preparations before departing the UK.

The Lions – who fly from Heathrow this evening – have won just one Test series against the All Blacks in 10 trips to the toughest of all touring destinations, but Woodward believes his class of 2005 will enhance that tally.
