O’Gara returns for Munster's Celtic Cup clash

Lions outhalf Ronan O'Gara has made a timely return to action, and is named in the Munster side for the Celtic Cup final clash with Llanelli Scarlets in Lansdowne Road tomorrow evening.

O'Gara injured his knee in the Celtic League game against Gwent Dragons on March 25.

Munster coach Alan Gaffney welcomed O'Gara's return but also paid respect to Paul Burke, who has deputised for O'Gara in the past few games.

The departing Australian coach said: "It goes without saying that it's great to have Ronan back in the squad. He has made a full recovery and we did think about playing him last week against Leinster but in the end deemed it prudent to give him that extra bit of time.

"Paul Burke has done a great job for us in Ronan's absence, besides everything else his penalty last week proved crucial and throughout the season he has played a crucial part in what has been a very good season for Munster."

Injured wing John Kelly is replaced by Paul Devlin and is the only other change from the side that beat Leinster in the semi-final last weekend.

MUNSTER (v Llanelli): Shaun Payne, Paul Devlin, Mike Mullins, Rob Henderson, Anthony Horgan, Ronan O'Gara, Peter Stringer, Marcus Horan, Frank Sheahan, John Hayes, Donncha O'Callaghan, Paul O'Connell, Alan Quinlan, David Wallace, Anthony Foley (capt).
