Costello wins Player of the Month award

It is perhaps appropriate that Victor Costello should leave rugby the way he came into it - as a winner.

Leinster's Costello has been voted the Bank of Scotland (Ireland) Player of the Month for April.

As well as the well-earned recognition of the fans, Costello received a specially commissioned trophy before the start of last Sunday's Celtic Cup clash against Munster.
